Today in Terns we have been learning to solve missing number problems and Nicholas has been using the 100 square to help him find the missing number when the answer is 1000.
Nicholas applied his knowledge of number bonds to 100 to find the missing number when the answer is 1000! He even explained to me how he did it. Well done. What a BAD Learner!

MRS NERG Science!
Year 3 Buntings were learning about what living things need to survive in Science this week. They created songs and raps about the 7 characteristics and presented them to the class. Can you work out what MRS NERG stands for? Watch out for one of our raps coming to the blog soon for you to watch.
Stars of the Week

House Hunt Mania
House Hunt Mania!
This morning each house in Y3 competed to win 150 house points for their house. We had to complete a series of questions related to our house leaders and then go on a treasure hunt around the school. It was such a fun morning and everyone got involved. A MASSIVE congratulations to our winners Zayed House (Ravens) who finished first.
Mindful Bottles
As part of our mindfulness programme Y3 Buntings have made ‘my mind in a bottle’. We used sand, glitter and confetti to
add in our thoughts and feelings and discussed the power of meditation to
settle the mind ready for learning.
