Heritage Village @ Al Yasmina Academy!
Terns Explore the Marina and Mangroves
What an absolutely fabulous day we enjoyed exploring the local area: learning about local living creatures and plants!
We were so excited to spend some time out of the classroom with each other especially after we have all worked so hard this term.
If you see a sea creature wearing a pink hat please return it us. We all returned safely apart from one hat - LOL

Buntings Set Sail
It was a foggy start to our trip as we arrived at Yas Marina. It didn't curb our enthusiasm though...we buckled up our life jackets and jumped onboard the boat.
We cruised across the water towards the mangroves. The environment was alive with animals - flamingos, gazelles, herons and cormorants.
We finally arrived at an island off Yas Links to explore the habitat and look at the different wildlife and vegetation. Gillian (Marine Biologist) informed us of lots of fun facts! Captain Mohammed even found 2 mangrove crabs!
When it was time to go home we were all tired but we had the best day! Thanks so much Captain Tony for a super adventure,

National Day
What an amazing time we had celebrating 45 years of the UAE in our National Day celebrations in school on Tuesday. The children (and teachers) all enjoyed dressing up and Buntings class made a Visitors Guide to Ras Al Khaimah as part of our house activities.
